The world today is ready for a strong leader because it is filled with turmoil and overwhelming problems that no one knows how to solve. Nations, including Eastern Europe, Russia, Europe, America, and Japan, are realizing they cannot cope, so they will eagerly embrace a charismatic figure who promises peace, prosperity, and answers.
Les teaches that the world is looking for a charismatic leader because it has problems it does not know which way to turn. He points to the book of Daniel, which says this leader will come with flatteries, promising peace and prosperity and claiming to have the answer to all problems. Les recalls a Belgian general after World War II who said the world needs a strong leader; if such a man appeared, the world would fall at his feet by the next night. Les maintains that with turmoil in Eastern Europe, Russia, Europe, America, and even prosperous Japan, the world is suddenly realizing it has problems it cannot cope with, making it ready for such a leader.
