What is God's grace beyond unmerited favor?

God's grace beyond unmerited favor is His attribute that reaches down to fallen, condemned sinners who can do nothing, saving them on the basis of believing the gospel plus nothing. It also means sin no longer has dominion over believers, because they are under grace, not law.

Les explains that few people comprehend the grace of God; most stop at the definition "unmerited favor." In Romans 6:14, Paul says the old Adamic sin nature shall not have dominion, control, or a reigning rule over the believer, because the believer is not under law but under grace. Les teaches that grace is the attribute of God that reaches down to a person who realizes he is a fallen creature, under sin and condemnation, and can do nothing, and saves him on the basis of believing the gospel plus nothing.
