Les Feldick Bible Study

What will church-age believers do when Christ's kingdom is set up?

When Christ's kingdom is established, church-age believers will be part and parcel of that kingdom, ruling and reigning with Christ. They will participate in the promised Davidic kingdom, which will become a viable reality when the Messiah becomes King, established forever as the sun and moon.

Les explains that the kingdom promised to King David, which Solomon would extend but which would be interrupted, will become a viable reality over time. God the Son, the Messiah, will become King, and it will be a glorious kingdom. In Psalm 89:36-37, the psalmist declares that David's seed shall endure forever and His throne as the sun and moon, established forever as a faithful witness in heaven. Les then notes that Paul writes and John writes in Revelation that when this kingdom is finally set up, church-age believers will be a part and parcel of that kingdom by ruling and reigning with Christ.
