How did Eve inherit a sin nature if God did not curse her for eating?

Eve inherited a sin nature through Adam, not through her own eating. Adam was the federal head of the human race, so everyone, including Eve, came from his line. Although God did not place the curse on Eve and she ate first, sin entered the human race by Adam. Being in Adam made her a fallen creature.

Les explains that Eve was created out of Adam because Adam had to be the federal head of the human race, so everyone, including Eve, would come from Adam’s line. Scripture therefore says the human race did not come under sin by virtue of Eve, even though she ate first; sin came on the whole human race by way of Adam. Even though God did not put the curse on Eve for eating of the tree, she still inherited that sin nature through Adam, just like every other woman and man since. God kept the fault or curse from Eve and insulated her. She did not inherit her sin nature from her own act of eating, because she did that in ignorance, but she was now a fallen creature because she was in Adam.
