What is happening to believers in many parts of the world today?
Believers in many parts of the world are under intense persecution today. Thousands of believers are losing their lives every day for their faith. In contrast to America, which protects freedoms, these believers face severe opposition and even death for their faith.
Les explains that believers are children of God and therefore heirs, joint heirs with Christ. But this inheritance comes with a price: suffering with Him so that we may be glorified together. In America, believers may face growing opposition but still enjoy protected freedoms, so they do not truly know suffering for their faith. However, in many areas of the world tonight, believers are under intense persecution, with thousands losing their lives every day for their faith.
