How long will Christ's reign on earth last?
Christ will establish His rule and reign on earth for a thousand years. This thousand-year reign follows the seven-year period when God finishes His dealings with Israel. During it, Christ is King of kings and Lord of lords, and all things in heaven and earth are brought together in Him.
Les teaches that after the church is out of the way, God picks up with Israel where He left off and finishes His dealings in the seven years still future. When the earthly people are ready for the coming of their King, He will establish His rule and reign for a thousand years. Les notes that His revelation says clearly He shall be King of kings and Lord of lords, and in that thousand-year reign the tenth verse becomes a fulfilled reality, with all things heavenly and earthly brought together in Christ.
And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
