When Christ returns, how long will the kingdom last before it becomes eternal?

When Christ returns and the kingdom becomes viable and visible, it will not be immediately eternal. Scripture indicates it will first last a thousand years. Only later does it become eternal, a truth revealed in Revelation, not in the Old Testament or early New Testament.

Les teaches that when Christ returns and this kingdom becomes viable and visible, it would not be immediately eternal, but it would first last a thousand years. Nothing in Scripture indicates that thousand-year time frame until Revelation, the final revealing. Peter spoke of the kingdom promised back to Abraham, that if Israel repented and believed who Jesus is, God would send Christ. But verse 21 shows a seven-year interlude Daniel spoke of in chapter 9, the seven years of tribulation. That is the times of restitution spoken of here, and it is the only thing that applies.
