When does the Holy Spirit place us into the Body of Christ?

At the moment of salvation, the Holy Spirit places every believer into the Body of Christ by the one Spirit’s baptism. This is the true Spirit baptism for today, not water baptism, and it makes each believer a member of that one body while preserving individuality within the composite.

Les teaches that the human body is used as a comparison: just as one body has many members, so also is Christ, or the body of Christ. All believers have been brought into it and become members, never losing their individuality but still being part of the composite. He explains that by one Spirit—the Holy Spirit—every believer, not just the most spiritual, is baptized into the Body of Christ. This is not water baptism, but a work of the Holy Spirit that occurs at the moment of salvation. Les calls it the only true baptism of the Holy Spirit for today and says those who have it have their names written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

1 Corinthians 12:13

For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
