What happens if you don't have the baptism of the Holy Spirit?

Scripture teaches that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is the work by which every believer is placed into the Body of Christ at salvation. Without this baptism, a person is not going to be in glory; with it, one's name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life.

Les explains that 1 Corinthians 12 uses the human body as a comparison: the body is one and has many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ, or the body of Christ. All believers have been brought into it and become members of it; they never lose their individuality, but they are part of the composite. He identifies the means as the Holy Spirit: by one Spirit believers are baptized into the Body of Christ. This is the only true baptism of the Holy Spirit for us today, and everybody better have it, or they are not going to be in glory. If you have this baptism, your name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life and you will be in glory. It is not water baptism; it is a work of the Holy Spirit that at the moment of salvation places us into the Body of Christ. Les also uses the analogy of a baby in the mother's womb.

1 Corinthians 12:13

For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
