What will happen to all the nations of the world at the Second Coming of Christ?
At the Second Coming of Christ, all the nations of the world will gather in the Middle East for the Battle of Armageddon and be destroyed. Christ's feet will stand on the Mount of Olives. Afterward, the nations will flow to Jerusalem, where His kingdom will be headquartered.
Les teaches that Zechariah chapter 14, the first three verses, describes the Battle of Armageddon, when all the armies of the world gather in the Middle East. He explains he is not worried about Y2K because, according to God's time plan, it is too early; those armies must still get to the Middle East, and they will. At the Second Coming of Christ, all the nations of the world come together and are destroyed. Christ then sets up His kingdom, which will be headed up in Jerusalem. Les uses Washington, D.C., as an example: today everything flows to and from the superpower, but Washington will not last, while Jerusalem will. Zechariah 14:4 says His feet shall stand in that day upon the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem—earthly, not heavenly.
Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
