Where do we find all the truth the Church needs today?
The whole package of revealed truth the Church needs today is found in the writings of the Apostle Paul. This truth comes from his pen, and in it the Church has all the truth it needs, so no other source must be sought for that truth.
Les explains that God kept this revelation secret since before anything was created, which is why Jesus could not preach it and Peter could not preach it. But because the work of the cross is done and because of the power of His resurrection, God can now pour out the whole package of revealed truth that comes from the pen of the Apostle Paul. In it the Church has all the truth it needs today; you do not have to go anywhere else to get it. That does not mean throwing away the rest of the Bible, because all the Bible works for its common end. Les suggests Christendom would see things begin to happen if it spent 90% of its time in Paul’s epistles and 10% in the rest of the Bible.
