Where do we get the fundamental truths for salvation, the Christian walk, and the operation of the local church in the Church Age?

During the Church Age, the fundamental truths for salvation, the Christian walk, and the operation of the local church must be garnered basically from the Pauline letters, since Paul is the designated Apostle of the Gentiles. All Scripture remains profitable for reproof and instruction in righteousness, but these fundamentals come from Paul's epistles.

Les explains that for this age of grace, which he calls the Church Age, Paul is the designated Apostle of the Gentiles, and consequently it is in the Pauline letters that we have to garner basically the fundamental truths for salvation, for the Christian walk, and for the operation of the local church. He stresses that it all has to come from these letters of Paul. He adds that this never implies the rest of the Bible is inappropriate — God forbid — because Paul himself writes that all Scripture is inspired of God and profitable for reproof and for instruction in righteousness. Les notes that in the book of Romans especially there is so much that is fundamental for Gentiles, which is the only reason they teach.
