Why does Les give the Lord praise and credit for the response to the program?

Les explains that the program deliberately breaks the usual rules of religious broadcasting: he does not wear a suit and tie, uses no fancy format, does all his own announcements, and keeps using the simple music stand. People write and say, “Don’t ever change a thing.” He describes the program as an informal Bible study, not preaching at anybody or trying to twist arms. But he says they are getting such response that people are getting into the Book and seeing things they have never seen before. For that spiritual result, Les gives the Lord the praise and the credit.
