Why does Les thank God every morning?

Les explains that every morning without exception he thanks God for the day because he thinks of how miraculously all things had to transpire in their two lives to bring him and his little wife to cross paths, fall in love, and spend 43 years together. He calls it an act of God, absolutely, and applies it to most of his listeners, noting that many can look back and say it was a miracle that they and their spouses got together. He warns never to sell short the sovereignty of God, emphasizing that it was only by His grace He reached down and chose us. He also cautions the unbeliever not to worry about whether they are chosen; believe the gospel, and God will move in grace and show these truths little by little.
