What does God promise to do for believers until the day of our Lord Jesus Christ?
God promises to confirm believers to the end, so that they may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. This confirmation rests on His grace, not human effort, and assures that those under the blood are already forgiven.
Les explains that Paul was waiting for the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, expecting the Rapture in his lifetime, though God waited almost 2,000 years. The promise remains that Christ shall also confirm believers unto the end, that they may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. Even the carnal Corinthians, failing miserably, were already under the blood and forgiven, showing how far the grace of God reaches. Yet Les warns this is not license for sin, because a true born-again child of God will not test God's grace to see how far down He can go.
Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
