How did Paul turn the Roman Empire upside down?

Paul turned the Roman Empire upside down not as a crusader, politician, or moralist, but by simply preaching the Gospel of the grace of God. God saved him on the Damascus road, sent him to pagan Gentiles with a new revelation of truths not based on Judaism, the Law, or the Old Testament.

Les explains that Paul had hated anything associated with the Christ of Calvary, thinking he was destroying his pet religion, Judaism. But God in grace saved him on the road to Damascus and immediately gave instructions that this man would go to the Gentiles with a whole new format—not based on Judaism, the Law, or the Old Testament, but on a whole new revelation of new truths never mooted before. Sent among pagan Gentiles, Paul was constantly confronted with the abject immorality of his day. Yet out of that wickedness and gross pagan immorality, he turned the Roman Empire upside down by simply preaching the Gospel. He was not a crusader, a great politician, or a great moralist; he preached the Gospel of the grace of God. Later, in prison because of his apostleship, he wrote letters to the saints, always to the believer, the Christian.
