What was America's founding based on according to Les?
America's founding was based on the Word of God. The founding fathers grounded everything on Scripture, and the Constitution was almost biblically oriented. The nation was steeped in God's Word, yet those biblical principles are now being constantly torn down, paralleling ancient Israel's decline.
Les explains that America can be identified with ancient Israel over and over. He notes that America as a nation was steeped in the Word of God, and the founding fathers based everything on the Word of God. The Constitution was almost biblically oriented. Now, however, there is a constant tearing down of all these principles. Israel went through the same role: the Lord could no longer bear their evil doings and abominations, and their land became a desolation, an astonishment, and a curse because they burned incense, sinned against the Lord, did not obey His voice, nor walked in His law and statutes.
