What does God say when we are surrounded and have no way out?
In impossible situations, God says, Do nothing but believe. He does not say hurry up and do something; He tells us to believe the Gospel and the plan of salvation, and then He opens everything up, breaks satanic power, and makes us a whole new person.
Les teaches that the picture is one of being surrounded by the enemy, with a formidable Red Sea in front and impossible odds of escaping. In that setting, God does not say to hurry up and do something. Instead, He says the same thing today: do nothing but believe. We are to believe the Gospel and the plan of salvation, and then God opens everything up. He breaks the chains of satanic power and makes us a whole new person.
