Why does God have the right to send people to hell?

God has the right to consign unbelievers to a lost eternity because He gave the best heaven and the Godhead contained, sending Christ to earth, to the cross, through death and resurrection to save sinful men. When people spurn that sacrifice, He has every right to judge them; after death comes judgment, with no second chance.

Les explains that people who ask how God can send good people to hell do not understand how much God gave to save sinful men. God gave the best that all of heaven and the Godhead contained; He sent Christ to earth, through 33 years among sinful men, to the cross, where He suffered and died, then arose through the power of God. Because that work of the cross is spurned, God has every right to consign people to a lost eternity. Les says God suffered to such an extent for everyone’s salvation that when they reject it, there is nothing else God can do; His hands are tied, and He will not give a second chance. Scripture says it is appointed once to die, and after that the judgment.
