What does it mean that Christ has quickened us together with Him?

Christ has quickened us together with Him means He has made believers spiritually alive. Though we were dead in sins and the uncircumcision of the flesh, He has already made us alive together with Him, having forgiven all trespasses from start to finish.

Les explains Colossians 2:13-15 as addressed to believers, you and I as members of the Body of Christ, not Jews or someone in some religious system. Those who were dead in their sins and the uncircumcision of their flesh—Gentiles—were just as lost as anyone could be. But Christ has past-tense quickened or made alive, that is spiritually, together with Him, having forgiven all trespasses. How many? All of them, from start to finish. This rests on what Christ accomplished, giving liberty in Christ and leaving no room for pride, because we deserve none of it.
