With what does God's new work after the four thousand years begin?

God's new work after the four thousand years begins with the fulfillment of the promise He made in Genesis chapter three, verse fifteen. At the exact time in God's schedule, the Messiah was born in Bethlehem, marking the transition from Israel's varied responsibilities to this new work.

Paul does not have to rehearse all the details of Joseph and Mary because that was already implied and prophesied, but he brings us right to the crucial point of Christ's birth. It happened because it was in God's timetable.
