How will God create the new heavens and the new earth?

Les teaches that creation comes out of nothing, and he illustrates this with a physicist who concluded that everything at the beginning came from a single source of light. Les says, “That’s God! God is light!” The physicist also suggested everything could go back like a genie into the bottle, back into that source of light. Les agrees, saying that is exactly what God will do when everything is destroyed and the elements melt with fervent heat. God will pull everything back into the original source of light and energy, and from there He will create new heavens and a new earth, which Revelation tells us and Peter also says.
