When does God begin working with the nation of Israel again?
God resumes His program with the nation of Israel after the calling out of the church, the body, is completed and removed from the earth. Then He will return and rebuild the tabernacle of David, finishing what He started with Israel in Israel’s future.
Les explains that the calling out of the church, the body, occurs after God calls out a people for His name. After that is accomplished, and as Paul teaches, it has to be lifted off the earth and called away. Then God will start working once again with the nation of Israel. Les points to the promise, “I will return and build again the tabernacle of David.” The tabernacle of David was the temple and the whole sphere of Israel’s kingdom, and this is in Israel’s future. He notes the Jew in Palestine tonight is the beginning of all this; they are coming from every nation under heaven, and God is getting the favored nation ready first for the Antichrist, then for the true Christ. In other words, God is going to finish what He started with Israel.
