What did God do when Israel rejected His plan in unbelief?

When Israel rejected God's plan in unbelief, God opened the windows of heaven of grace through the apostle Paul. He revealed to Paul the secrets that had been kept in the mind of God throughout the Old Testament economy, establishing the present era of grace.

Les explains that Israel was supposed to be the light of the Gentiles and the vehicle through whom God would work, but they dropped the ball and rejected it in unbelief. Then God opened up the windows of heaven of grace through the apostle Paul and revealed to that man the secrets that had been kept in the mind of God all the way up through the Old Testament economy. Les notes this came after the period of Law, which ran from 1500 B.C. until Paul came along around 37 or 38 A.D. Now grace has been revealed, and these things are clearly put in place; previously it was all under the Law, not faith plus nothing.
