What does the Law actually do to the human race according to Galatians 3?

According to Galatians 3, the Law condemns the entire human race. It continually condemns both good and bad people, and even upright individuals who mostly keep it eventually fail in one point. Since failing one command makes a person guilty of all, everyone becomes a lawbreaker and cannot stand before God by law-keeping.

Les teaches that the Law reverts right back to what it was before: it does nothing but condemn the whole human race. Day in and day out, the Law is condemning good people and bad people. Many good, upright, nice people keep the Law for the most part—they would not rob a bank, commit adultery, or gossip—but somewhere along the line they will fail. James says if you fail one, you are guilty of all. So we are law breakers and do not stand a chance by law keeping. Verse 22 gives the great answer to the even greater dilemma: Scripture has concluded all under sin, so that the promise by the faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them who believe. This fits with Romans 3, where Paul asks whether Jews are better than Gentiles.

Galatians 3:22

But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
