What does the Law ultimately do to the whole human race?

The Law ultimately does nothing but condemn the entire human race. It condemns good and bad people continually, because everyone fails at some point. Since failing one point makes a person guilty of all, all are law breakers, and no one stands a chance by law keeping.

Les explains that the Law reverts right back to what it was before: it does nothing but condemn the whole human race. Day in and day out, the Law condemns good people and bad people. Even good, upright, nice people who keep the Law for the most part—who would never rob a bank, commit adultery, or gossip—will fail somewhere along the line. As James says, if you fail one point, you are guilty of all. So we are law breakers and do not stand a chance by law keeping. This sets up the great answer: the Scripture has concluded all under sin, so that the promise by the faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them who believe.

Galatians 3:21

Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.
