What happens to nations that come against the Jews or Israel?
God promised Abraham, “I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee.” History confirms that every nation which has come down hard on the Jew or turned against Israel has gone down the tube, whether they like it or not. This pattern continues right up to the present system of nations.
Les teaches from Genesis 12:1–3 that God gave Abraham a series of “I will” promises: He would make of Abraham a great nation, bless those who bless him, and curse him who curses him. Les points out that all human history since 2000 B.C. rests on these promises, and God has kept every one. Abraham became a great man, his progeny was blessed, and God blessed those who blessed Israel. Conversely, God has cursed those who cursed Israel. Les insists that every nation which has come down hard on the Jew has gone down the tube, right up to the present system of nations. Anyone that turns against the nation of Israel goes down the tube whether they like it or not. That is why Les maintained for 25 years that as long as America remains a friend of Israel, America will be in pretty safe straits.
