Why did Paul keep preaching the gospel of grace throughout the Roman Empire?

Paul pressed on throughout the Roman Empire with the gospel of grace because he could not go back on the revelations the Lord had given him, and because through the law he died to the law that he might live unto God.

Les explains that Paul's whole reason for pressing on constantly throughout the Roman Empire with the Gospel of the grace of God was that he could not go back on the revelations the Lord had given him. Paul declares, "For I through the law am dead to the law, that I may live unto God." Les connects this to Romans 7, analyzing that the Law was perfect from God's point of view—the very mind of God—but from man's point of view it was weak and beggarly because man could not keep it. There was no power in the Law to help him keep it. Les illustrates that God gave the Law on cold stone, not a cuddly lambskin, showing its cold, beggarly nature. Thus Paul's message of grace was his only hope.

Galatians 2:19

For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.
