Why did Paul take grace rather than the Law to the Gentiles?
Paul took grace rather than Law to the Gentiles because the ascended Lord revealed the doctrines of grace to him during three years alone in Arabia, preparing him to carry the Gospel of Grace—Christ died, was buried, rose—rather than Judaism or Law.
Les explains that Mount Sinai was where God gave the Law to Moses, and Arabia is the place where God took Saul to reveal the doctrines of grace. For three years he was in a private seminary with no one but himself and the Lord, soaking up what he needed. Out of that time alone with the Ascended Lord, this apostle was prepared to go to the Gentiles, not with Judaism, not with Law, but with Grace. He did not carry only the Gospel of the Kingdom that Jesus was the Christ, but the Gospel of Grace: that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God, who died for our sins, shed His blood, was buried, and rose from the dead.
