What are the right ways to address Jesus today?

Scripture indicates the appropriate ways to address Him today are Christ, the Lord Jesus, the Lord Jesus Christ, or the Lord. Approaching Him as just Jesus is not scripturally appropriate after His resurrection. His followers used Lord or Master, while ridiculers used Jesus alone.

Les explains that never in the scriptural account did the apostles address Him as Jesus. They called Him either Lord or Master, but never Jesus. The ridiculers did, but His followers never did. Stephen called upon God, saying, "Jesus receive my Spirit," but Les says the only appropriate address for Him today is either Christ, or the Lord Jesus, or the Lord Jesus Christ, or the Lord, but don't ever approach Him as just Jesus. It is not scripturally apropos. He also notes that Paul, on one or two occasions, uses the term Jesus, but always says the Lord Jesus Christ, or Christ, or Jesus Christ, never Jesus alone. It's just not appropriate now after His resurrection.

Acts 7:59

And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.
