Les Feldick Bible Study

What problem do many churches today have according to Les?

Many churches today are plagued by division and controversy, with congregations splitting over various disputes. Unlike the early Jerusalem believers, who were of one heart and one soul, these churches lack that unity. Such conflicts generate many phone calls from people caught in dividing churches.

Les explains that the early Jerusalem church in Acts 4:32 was of one heart and one soul, and he wishes churches today could be described that way. He says he receives many phone calls from people in churches that are dividing and are in controversy of one sort or another. This group did not have that problem; they were all of one heart and one mind. They also did not treat their possessions as their own but had all things common, and the apostles gave witness of the resurrection with great power and great grace.
