What happens when the Kingdom of Christ comes back to the earth?
When the Kingdom of Christ returns to the earth, believers will come with Him and will rule and reign with Him as members of that Kingdom in heaven. Their citizenship is already in heaven, and they presently serve as ambassadors and ministers of reconciliation.
Les teaches that the Kingdom is one day going to come back on the earth, and we are going to come with Him. He believes we are going to rule and reign with Him as members of that Kingdom in heaven. He points to Philippians 3:20, which says our conversation or citizenship is in heaven, from whence also we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who changes our vile body that it may be fashioned unto His. The moment we become a believer and are placed in Christ, we are made members of the Kingdom of Christ in heaven, but we are left here as ambassadors. Our job is to represent our homeland. We are representatives of heaven itself, and as representatives of heaven, we become the ministers of reconciliation.
