Are future sins already forgiven, or only the ones committed before salvation?

All sins—past, present, and future—are already forgiven for the believer. Colossians 2 teaches that when Christ died, we died, and He has made us alive together with Him, having forgiven every trespass we did commit, are committing, and will commit. Christ died for all the world's sins.

Les explains that this forgiveness is not limited to a certain point in time; it means now and forever you're forgiven. In Colossians 2, Paul writes that we were dead in our sins in our pre-salvation existence, but God quickened us together with Christ. When Christ died, we died; when He arose, we arose to newness of life. He has forgiven every last trespass—those we did commit, are committing, and will commit—so they are already forgiven. Les stressed that when Christ died, He died for all the world's sins, tasting death for every man.
