What effect does this Bible study have on people who never watched religious television?

Les explains that the program is an informal Bible study that does not try to convince people they are wrong or demand they leave where they are. Instead, it simply gets people interested in Bible study. He says they are succeeding with the Lord's help because many respond that for the first time in their lives they are beginning to enjoy Bible study and can read and understand it. Letters from the audience often say they never watch religious television, but while going through the remote they stopped at the program, got interested, and some couples even began attending the class at Tahlequah. One woman said she never stopped at a religious program and did not know why she stopped; Les replied that he does, because nothing happens accidentally when the Lord is in it.
