Les Feldick Bible Study

How do many people today respond to opportunities to study the Bible?

Many people today respond to opportunities to study the Bible by rejecting them, saying they are not interested or "not into that kind of stuff." Despite being in a place of tremendous opportunity, they decline invitations to Bible classes, showing the average person's mentality is to cast aside or not take advantage of such chances.

Les teaches that many people today respond to the opportunity of Bible study the same way Israel did: they walk it underfoot, cast it aside, and essentially say, "Thanks, but no thanks." When invited to a Bible class, friends are often shocked by the answer, "Oh hey, now wait a minute, I'm not into that kind of stuff." That is the average person's mentality. Even though they are in a place of tremendous opportunity, they will not take advantage of it. The Gentiles have experienced that position for almost 2,000 years, yet many still reject the blessing.
