What materials were the Ark of the Covenant and tabernacle items made from?

The Ark of the Covenant and all these things were made of acacia wood, covered with gold. The laver of cleansing was brass, made of looking-glass and filled with water. The brazen altar was where sacrifices were burned, and incense burned on the altar of incense; a seven-tiered candlestick stood nearby.

Les teaches that the Ark of the Covenant, back in Israel’s early days, indicated God’s presence. He explains that the Ark and all these things were made of acacia wood but covered with gold. In the next room, the altar of incense stood on the north side, where fresh incense was burned daily with fire taken from the brazen altar. On the south side was the seven-tiered candlestick. Between the tabernacle tent and the brazen altar, where sacrifices were burned, was the laver of cleansing. The priest would stop there; it was filled with water and made of brass, actually looking-glass, like a mirror used for checking oneself.
