Does every believer have a gift and a role from God?
Yes. Every believer, regardless of how untalented they may think they are, has a role from God, and He has given each one a gift. The ability to do what they do comes from God, and He puts wisdom, understanding, and stirring in the heart to do His work.
Les teaches that every believer, no matter how untalented they may think they are, has a role from God, and God has given each one a gift. He points to the sanctuary workers: God put wisdom and understanding in Bezalel, Oahab, and every wisehearted person to perform the work. The ability to do what we do comes from God, and this work has to start with the heart, where the Lord stirs a person up to come to the work. He also notes that people may use a gift tremendously without even realizing it.
