Is God only interested in spiritual things, or does He care about material things too?
God is concerned with far more than spiritual matters. Scripture shows He filled Bezalel with the Spirit of God in wisdom, understanding, and knowledge for workmanship, not merely spiritual things. He is interested in every facet of life—physical, material, and spiritual—24 hours a day.
Les teaches that God is not only interested in the spiritual. Moses said the Lord called Bezalel by name and filled him with the Spirit of God in wisdom, understanding, and knowledge—not in spiritual things, but in workmanship. Les asks, do you think God is not concerned with your daily life? He answers, absolutely He is. From 24 hours a day, God is concerned with every facet of your life. Some people think we cannot bother God with material things and that He is only interested in the spiritual, but Les says don't believe it. God is interested in every facet of our lives—physical, material, as well as spiritual. The passage also says Bezalel was filled with knowledge of all manner of workmanship to devise curious work in gold, silver, and brass, and these craftsmen were filled with wisdom of heart to work all manner of work.
