Would people who emphasize Sabbath-keeping be willing to work six days?

No, not many. Those who emphasize Sabbath-keeping often would not be willing to work six days; most today do not want to work more than five, and four would be preferred. The Sabbath command includes six days of work, not merely rest.

Les teaches that part of the Sabbath commandment is "six days, thou shalt work." He asks how many people who strongly think all our problems are because we are not keeping the Sabbath would be willing to work six days. His answer is, "Not many anymore." Most people do not want to work more than five days, and four would be better. He also notes that people often take the portion of Scripture they like and leave out what they do not like, but we have to keep it all. The commandment says six days you will work, and the seventh day you can rest. He ties this commandment in with the first five as man's relationship to God, because verse 10 says the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God, though some groups place it with the final six as man's relationship with man.
