What did Paul do during his three years away after Damascus?

Paul spent three years alone in a private, personal seminary experience, during which the Lord revealed to him the doctrines of grace. Like Moses bringing the law down from Sinai to Israel, Paul took this revelation and carried it out to the Gentiles.

Les explains that after Damascus, Paul spent three years alone in a private, personal seminary experience where the Lord revealed to him the doctrines of grace. Paul did not stay on Mount Sinai, but like Moses who brought the law down to Israel, Paul took this revelation down and out to the Gentiles. This period was foundational because the resurrection separates this from the legal ground of the Mosaic system. Les also notes that Paul never instructs believers to keep the Sabbath; instead, the first day of the week is significant because Christ rose from the dead on that day. Later, Paul ministered among the Gentiles, as in Acts chapter 20, where disciples came together on the first day of the week to break bread and Paul preached.
