what did Paul do for three years in Arabia?

After his conversion, Paul went down into Sinai and Arabia, where for three years the Lord gave him a whole revelation of truths never hinted at in Scripture. He did not go to Jerusalem to consult Peter and the twelve, but received the gospel by revelation of Jesus Christ.

Les explains that after Paul's Damascus road conversion, the Lord did not send him immediately back to Jerusalem to check in with Peter and the twelve. Instead, the Lord sent him the opposite direction down into Sinai and Arabia, and evidently for three years the Lord laid on this man a whole revelation of things that were never hinted at in Scripture. This connects with Galatians 1:11-12, where Paul says the gospel he preached was not after man, neither received of man nor taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. Les emphasizes that all the way through the Old Testament, the Gospels, and the early book of Acts, the term the Body of Christ never appears until you get to Paul.
