How did Israel get out of slavery in Egypt?

Israel could not move out of the slave experience in Egypt except by the power of God. They could do nothing to free themselves; God exerted His power on their behalf. They were to walk through by faith, but their deliverance depended entirely on divine power, not human ability.

Les teaches that Israel was helpless to escape slavery in Egypt by their own strength. At the Red Sea, they would walk through by faith, but God exerted His power while they could do nothing. Les connects this to salvation: just as Israel could not move out except by God's power, people must hear the word of truth and recognize their hopelessness before God delivers them.
