Where did Israel come out of when they left Egypt?
Israel came out of Goshen when they left Egypt. The context says they come out of Goshen, located in Egypt, and God led them not by the way of the Philistines but down the shore of the Red Sea. They moved out on the exact day the 430 years ended.
Les teaches that God is in complete control of time and events, not missing the 430 years by even 24 hours. On the exact day the 430 years ended, Israel moved out of Egypt. They came out of Goshen. God did not lead them through the way of the Philistines, which would have been the short route, but instead they went down the shore of the Red Sea. Somewhere along the deeper part, near Mount Sinai, they would be locked in with mountains.
