Les Feldick Bible Study

What does Les want people to know about the God of Israel?

He wants people to know that the God of Israel is a God who is constantly performing the miraculous—not merely miracles as commonly thought today, but real miraculous events. This includes how He delivered Israel from Egypt, bore them on eagles' wings, and brought them to Himself, as Exodus 19:4 indicates.

Les explains that he wants to impress upon anyone he teaches that the God of Israel is a God who is constantly performing the miraculous. He clarifies that this is not the miraculous as people think of miracles today, but real miraculous events. He points to Exodus 19:4, where God says He did unto the Egyptians—drowning them in the Red Sea—and bore Israel on eagles' wings and brought them unto Himself. Les notes that Israel did not literally fly or sprout wings; they walked. Yet he believes God somehow moved that whole group speedily without their even realizing it, a miraculous move. He also suggests that during the Tribulation the 144,000 will experience that same kind of travel, going from place to place with utmost speed and not even realizing they are doing it.
