Why is salvation described as being at ground level?
Salvation is at ground level because the door to the sheepfold was at ground level, showing it is accessible. No one must climb a high mountain, pay a million dollars, or shape up; the Holy Spirit brings us to walk through that door by faith.
Les teaches that the door to the sheepfold was not 100 feet up in the air, down in some cave, or across a raging river; it was ground level. The analogy is that salvation is always right at ground level. We do not have to climb a high mountain, pay a million dollars, or shape up, as so many people associate with God's salvation. The Holy Spirit has been doing His work to bring us to the place where we walk through that door by faith.
