How do most people think of salvation?

Les explains that the word salvation is mentioned in Romans 1:16, and that even a multitude of church people do not really comprehend what all is involved in that one word. Most people, he says, think of salvation as just a fire escape—just meaning they are going to escape hell and go to heaven when they die. But the word implies so much more, and Les says he can list eleven, twelve, or thirteen aspects of that word. He plans to define that one word that Scripture uses, salvation. Les also teaches that salvation is based upon the Gospel, and that 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 lays out the Gospel so completely, clearly, and simply; when Paul refers to the Gospel, this is what he is referring to.
