Are Christians under the blood safe and secure like the Jews in Goshen?

Yes. Just as every Jewish household in Goshen was safe and secure because the blood was applied to the door by faith, so Christians who are under the blood are safe and secure. This security rests not on personal goodness or earning but on the blood, and it never gives license to sin.

Les teaches that the Jews in Goshen had nothing to worry about or fear; they were absolutely secure, not because of anything they had earned, not because of their goodness, but because the blood was on the door. That was an act of faith. If they had scoffed and refused to put the blood on the door, they would not have been safe and would have lost their firstborn. Scripture gives no indication that any Jews were lost; evidently every Jewish household in Goshen had the blood applied and was safe. Les says he will go into the New Testament, Romans, Ephesians, and some of these others, to show that if we are under the blood, we are safe and secure. He qualifies that this does not give license; it never does. They did not weep and wail with “what if” questions about past failures, for they were sinners just like we are, but the blood applied made them totally safe and secure. He also notes that the exodus from Egypt was God’s redemption of the nation.
