Les Feldick Bible Study

What happens when a teacher says things people don't agree with?

Disagreement with a teacher's words can stir listeners' nests, prompting them to get into the book and see why they object. This often brings them around to the speaker's point of view, as the aim is to get them into the book.

Les explains that his approach is not to go by what men say but by what the book says. Even if people don't agree with him, if he can get them into the book, that is what happens. He says if you stir their nest and say things they can't agree with, at least they will get into the book to see why they don't agree, and that many times brings them around to his point of view. He also notes this is an informal class that doesn't follow any denominational line.
