Les Feldick Bible Study

Why do people have problems with some things Les teaches?

People have problems with certain teachings because they are not accustomed to them. Even Peter found Paul's message hard to comprehend—that God would save a multitude of Gentiles without Jews. Paul's epistles contain some things hard to understand, and the unlearned and unstable twist them.

Les explains that people have problems with some of the things he teaches because they are not used to it. He says Peter was in the same boat: Peter said he could not comprehend that God was going to save a multitude of Gentiles without us Jews, which was Paul's message. Even at that late date, Peter acknowledged that in Paul's epistles are some things hard to be understood. Les points out that the unlearned and unstable twist those things, as they do also the other Scriptures, and people become masters at it. That is where the cults come in, and their end result is their own destruction.
