Who has the opportunity to share the Word of God today?
Every believer, every one of us, has the opportunity today to share the Word of God with whoever might listen. God did not entrust this treasure to angels but left it in the hands of mortal men, ordinary earthen vessels, so that those who know the Lord can pass on the light of the knowledge of God's glory.
Les explains that Paul was just as human as the rest of us, but it did not stop with Paul. Other men came along, and as we have come down through human history, and even today, every one of us has the opportunity to share the Word with whoever might listen. God did not see fit to put this magnificent knowledge and understanding in the hands of angels; He left it in the hands of mortal men. This treasure is the light of God, the light of the knowledge of the glory of God, and it is in earthen vessels—not a clay pot, but this body of flesh made up of the elements of the earth.
